How to reach us



 

From Rome airport
About 250 km. about 3 hours drive. Head towards CIVITAVECCHIA, continue to GROSSETO, take the turning to Siena, and drive for about 50 km until you see on your right a blue sign for FONTAZZI, turn right and climb the hill; on top turn left, and after 1 km turn right toward Monteroni d'Arbia, and the road SS.2 Cassia. After about 8 km you will join the Cassia, turn left towards Siena. Drive for 2 km through the village of Monteroni d'Arbia. After the TAMOIL petrol station turn right on the road signed to ASCIANO. and turn again after 300 meters to the left on a white gravel road.
You can go street and to the right on a white gravel road with cypress trees, you will find Sant’Alfredo.

 

From Rome city
About 230 km, about two and a half hours drive.
Take the A1 until you reach the Betolle Val di Chiana exit. Then take the Siena 4 lane "superstrada" motorway.
Drive as far as Serre di Rapolano. Exit and continue to Asciano. After Asciano you will pass over a narrow bridge and follow the signs for Monteroni. After 10 km you will enter our valley and turn left on a white gravel road with cypress trees, you will find Sant’Alfredo.


From Milan
Pull off from the A1 autostrada del sole, at Firenze Certosa. Pay the toll, turn right to Siena, on the Autopalio. Exit at Siena Sud, turn left and pass under the autopalio, the turn right to Rome. Climb a hill and reach a traffic light, turn right, you will be on the SR 2 Cassia. Drive 13 km, enter Monteroni d-Arbia, go straight, pass a round about, pass a gas station Agip, when you cannot continue straight, turn left, pass a parking, turn right and reach Via Roma, turn left and after 50 m trun left to ASCIANO. As you pass the bridge on the Arbia river, you can go street and to the right on a white gravel road with cypress trees, you will find Sant’Alfredo.
