The owners, the Ghini family, are from the Valdarbia. In 1884 Alfrdo Ghini opened a shop in Monteroni d’Arbia, a tipical shop in its time, where one could buy absolutely everything from textures to buttons, from rooms to wedding rings. Children and grandchildren then took over over time. However the shops multiplied in both Siena and Tuscany and the Ghini family became sucessful market dealers who stuck to the need of the clients and specialised in the textile and clothing sector.
In 1971 they brought up Fontebebedetta, which soon became a perfect palce to receive people thanks to its beautiful view, its peacefulness, its mild and breezy climate and its proximity o Siena. Indded the palce turned into a holiday structure in 1999.
